Location is super, you can enter the park 1 hour earlier because it's inside the park already. Dinner was good, staff was friendly, common rooms (reception, restaurant, lounge, pool) are very nice en modern)
We had way better accomodations for even the half of this price. The price is really not in proportion to the quality you get. No friendly welcome as in other lodges.
If you go in the winter please note that there is no heating in the lodge and bathroom, but this is in every tented lodge so keep that in mind when you are booking for the winter. Also for the bathroom you need to go outside for 2meters, which is not a big problem but also not very nice at night when its icecold.
We never had warm water in the shower, we made complaints 4 times but it never really got fixed, they tried though but seeing some other reviews i think it's a bigger problem that they have all the time. Please note that it's a tented lodge, if you haven't been in one before you should know that when it's windy there is a lot of noise. It is very annoying and makes it difficult to sleep. They do mention it so that's no fault on their end but I do feel if you offer a tented lodge you can not ask this outrageous price per night. We didn't know this beforehand so I just want to warn other guests.
Also you can only do activities with 3 people at least. If you are with two you need to pay for a virtual 3th person if no other guests have also booked.
When we complained about not having hot water for two days, they just shrugged it off and said sorry, no compensation or a drink on the house. Not really up to standard for 500eur per night!
I would suggest stay 1 night in sesriem camp (next to this lodge) ,so you can enter the park early. And go to another lodge (not tented) outside the park the second night. It will save you a lot of money.

Servicio realmente malo, la comida y la cena es lo mismo: ensalada con carne o carne con ensalada. Olvídate de pedir algo fuera del menú (no hay carta) porque no te lo preparan.
El baño está fuera de la habitación (en invierno - junio) cruzar a mitad de noche a 6 grados no es lo mas agradable. Además de apenas salir agua caliente.
Las tiendas/habitaciones están bastante deterioradas.
Lo único bueno, los guías que te llevan a las excursiones.
Definitivamente está extremadamente sobrevalorado…. Por cierto, si os imagináis un logde en medio del desierto, nada de eso. Esta en una aldea.

Food quality (Breakfast quite limited, Dinner- Barbecue not on the level of other Lodges) could be improved. Excursions were ok, but nothing special.
The Sossusvlei dunes are one of the greatest experiences during our Namibia trip. Highly recommend starting as early as possible and take a guided tour to avoid to many tourists and also not get stuck in the sand. We saw the beautiful sunrise on the dunes and also observed some hyenas.
The experience is worth it, but I would recommend only staying a short time. The tents heat up and the aircon is not always working. A manager is missing to oversee the staff and it seems very unorganised, especially for the price you pay.

夜ご飯で出たクロコダイルのバーベキューがとても美味しかった。
歌うシェフが夜を盛り上げてくれます。
きっと素晴らしい旅行になるでしょう。
※日が昇る前の時間帯のドライブには気をつけてください。野生動物が飛び出してきます。
朝日を見るにはゲートを2つ通らなければなりません。このロッジは1つ目のゲート(開門時間は日の出の時刻)の先にあるので2つ目の開門時間(日の出の1時間ほど前)に出発すれば間に合います。
名前の通り、Dead valleyでの幻想的な風景を見ることも可能です。
サンライズツアーをロッジで手配することも可能ですが、このロッジまで自力で来れた方は全く問題なくセルフドライブで行けると思います。
部屋はとても広く、清潔で快適なラグジュアリーテントとなっています。バスルーム、トイレに行くのには外を通るので、冬に行く方は寒いと思います。シャワーの水圧、お湯の温度ともに問題ありません。
ドライヤーもついています。
共用部だけでなく部屋でもWiFiが強かったのはとても良い点です。
私が泊まったのは夏だったので、備え付けの冷蔵庫やヒーターは外気が暑すぎて昼間はあまり機能していませんでした。
料理はとても美味しかったです。
朝日を見る方は朝食をパックしてくれます。お水もいただけるのは助かります。
