Lodge located a few steps from the airport that offers nice, spacious and clean rooms.

An ideal place for the first or last days of the trip since this lodge is located close to the airport. The rooms are nice, spacious and clean, and the dinners are very good. There are also game drives and guided walks available at very affordable prices. It's worth it: the surrounding area is a great place for wildlife walks through beautiful bushland. You will enjoy the swimming pool, the impeccable service and the family atmosphere.

Der Ausblick ist schlicht unschlagbar. Personal und Service ausgezeichnet - nicht nur wegen der abendlich im Bett positionierten Wärmflasche:) Abendessen bei Kaminfeuer sehr gut und auch das Frühstücksbuffet bestens. Der Canyondrive war lohnenswert und abenteuerlich. Wir verbrachten hier zwei herausragend tolle Tage auf unserer dreiwöchigen Namibiareise.

I had an amazing experience at Grootberg Lodge! The location's view of the Klip Rivier Valley is breathtaking. The staff is incredibly friendly and even put on performances after dinner as a lovely gesture of appreciation. However, please note that the rooms lack Wi-Fi and plug points, but you can use the Wi-Fi and charging station in the main area. Overall, a memorable stay!

Great location on the rim of the canyon. Rooms minimalist bordering on spartan. Weather very changeable and fires and hot water bottles may be needed. Limited dinner menu. Plenty of bookable walking/ tracking activities nearby
