This vast complex was the place to be in Windhoek in the past. Like any institution that has had its hour of glory, the Safari has lived for years and years to find a new dynamic. The Safari Court is somewhat ceremonious and the decoration feels like it. All rooms have air conditioning, lounge area, mini bar, TV, telephone, bathroom with bathtub. However, the rates are reasonable for this purpose. Restaurant L'Acacia serves a very large buffet. The Safari, with its rather successful "African" decoration, will probably attract more travellers who will try to spend the first or last nights of their journey in comfort and rest. Here again, buffet dinner in the restaurant Le. Each hotel has its bar and Safari, a second grill restaurant. The advantage of this ensemble is to be a little isolated from the city centre while offering shuttles very regularly. A central garden offers its large swimming pool, its deckchairs and some tables to take a last bowl of holiday before returning home!
