The Windhoek area is quite well equipped in observatories accessible to the traveler. The Onjala Lodge offers beautiful accommodation benefits in this area of Namibia with, cherry on the cake, two observatories located nearby! Knowledgeable amateurs - who know the equipment and handle it - can negotiate with the manager the possibility of using the 355 mm diameter telescope as well as the beautiful Zeiss zipper of 150 mm available.
