BIBLIOTHÈQUE NATIONALE
Library under the responsibility of the Ministry of Education, where you can consult history books.
This library, founded in 1926, contains, among other things, a collection of German colonial works. The institution survived the apartheid regime, resulting in a temporary fragmentation of services to the public. After closing down in 2000 for relocation, the library was refurbished in a new building for the tenth anniversary of independence. Under the responsibility of the Ministry of Education, it provides access to books on Namibian history and the daily press.
