Comfortable rooms in a huge renovated farmhouse, an ideal place for travelers in need of space.

Only 60 minutes from Windhoek, between the North and the capital, this huge renovated farmhouse is the ideal place for travellers in need of space (a feeling you shouldn't feel too much at the end of your trip in Namibia). Acquired in 1937, the 12,000-hectare estate offers 46 comfortable rooms, a restaurant and bar, two swimming pools and even a private bowling alley. "Midgard" would mean in English patois "A paradise where the earth rises up again, fertile and green, a protected and safe world for mankind". That says it all.

Роскошный лодж, за две недели путешествия по Намибии не встречал такой огромной ухоженной территории, газоны, огромные деревья. Номера оборудованы всем необходимым, отличный ремонт европейского уровня. Два бассейна, бар и ресторан. Музей антикварных машин. Отличный сервис, очень доброжелательный персонал. Удивительное для Намибии дело - есть выбор приличных вин, которые можно заказать по бокалам. В других лоджах вино по бокалам только из пакетов, или покупай целую бутылку. Из минусов - на завтрак не было никаких овощей от слова «совсем», у большого бассейна нет Wi-Fi. Но это мелочи - шикарное место для отдыха !
