Teufelskrallen Lodge is a great place to discover the Kalahari! It features six luxurious wooden chalets and safari canvas on the heights of a dune, with bathrooms and toilets accessible via an outdoor walkway, a small terrace and, of course, a superb view of the Kalahari savannah. Three kilometers from the site, an old farmhouse houses all the common areas: reception and a restaurant with Internet access, as well as a swimming pool. Game drives are organized to discover the local flora and fauna.

Teufelskrallen Lodge is conveniently located close to the B1, the main route connecting Windhoek to the Southern part of Namibia, about three hours drive from Windhoek. The main facilities are just a short drive from the B1 while the six tent houses are about 3 km drive away on the lodge‘s huge premises. Our tent house was beautifully designed, perfectly clean, and very comfortable. The bathroom with shower, toilet, and wash basin can be reached by a short walkway.
The view is amazing - we saw grazing impala antelopes just below our verandah, and weaver birds building a nest right at our tent were fun to watch, too. Sundowner drives of about 2.5 hours are offered as well as guided and non-guided walking tours. We saw various types of antelopes, giraffes, wildebeests, ostriches, and many different birds.
Breakfast and dinner were included in our room rate and served in the main building, everything was freshly prepared. Lunch and drinks from the bar can be ordered a la carte. Staff was very friendly and attentive.
Overall, it was a very pleasant stay, the highlight being the amazing tent houses.

Toll gelegene Lodge. Klein, absolut ruhig, Springböcke direkt vor der Veranda. Das Haupthaus ist ca. 3km entfernt und hat sehr viel Charme. Frühstück und Abendessen waren sehr gut. Der Staff der Lodge war immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Sundowner Game Drive mit Frank war super. Man sieht Springböcke, Gnus, Straussen, Zebras und Giraffen.
