MUSEUM OF KETMANSHOOP
Museum with exhibitions on the history of the region in the Rhenish mission church in Keetmanshoop.
The church of the Rhenish mission founded in 1895 houses the dynamic small Keetmanshoop museum. Temporary exhibitions follow one another, while the permanent exhibition focuses on the history of the region, particularly the pioneering period when the first German settlers settled in this inhospitable land. Cannons from the period can be seen outside. A good place to learn more about the context of the time and to stretch your legs in the coolness allowed by the thick walls of the church.
