Small, simple and comfortable hotel with well appointed rooms, organized around a heated pool.

No surprise for this small, simple and comfortable hotel. It has 22 rooms, well appointed, organized around a heated pool, nice to recover from the cold wind that will not fail to whip your face during your excursion. Some rooms offer a view of the bay of Lüderitz. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner and allows you to taste the seafood in a setting without particular charm, but the interest is in the plate.

Da fehlen einem die Worte. Ein Stern ist noch zu viel. Sanitäranlagen kann man es eig nicht nennen. Türen gehen nicht abschließen, teilweise kommt kein Wasser, weder zur Spülung, noch zum Händewaschen. Seife leer. Hatten 2 Nächte gebucht, sind nach der Ersten weiter gefahren.

Eine Mischung aus Kaserne aus dem Jahr 1957, Knast, Lost Place und Horrorfilmkulisse. Furchtbares Camp, hier wurde seit der Eröffnung nichts mehr gemacht.

We have stayed here on two separate occasions. Camping and in a room.
Rooms i think are over priced for what you get but camping price is fair.

Great location for wildlife.

Superbe vue depuis le point d'eau. Camp un peu trop fréquenté. Les WC ne fermé pas a clé.

Leider merkt man das die Unterkunft staatlich ist. Der Service ist eine Kathastrophe. Die Duschen auf dem Campingplatz hatten nur kaltes Wasser. Tankstelle schliesst bereits bevor der Nationalpark schliesst und somit kann man nach einem Safaritag nicht mehr tanken. Am nächsten morgen kommt der Tankwart ebenfalls zu spät. Es hiess die Tankstelle öffnet um 7:00 wir waren um 7:10 da und es war noch niemand vor Ort. Wir sind dann zuerst eine kleine Runde gefahren und um 7:30 wieder gekommen. Da war der Tankwart zwar vor Ort hat uns aber zuerst ca. 10 Minuten lang ignoriert und danach musste er noch Pumpen. Schlussendlich haben wir ca. 30 Minuten nur an der Tankstelle verbracht. Danach noch beschwert das er kein Trinkgeld erhalten hat. Beim Wasserloch sieht man nicht wirklich viel. Das einzig positive am Camping war, das dieser direkt im Etosha liegt somit ist man am morgen schnell im Park und kann am Abend bis kurz vor der Schliessung im Park bleiben. Für das auch der 2. Stern. Vorausgesetzt man muss nicht tanken.
