Reservations must be made in advance at the Windhoek Tourism Office or online at the NWR website, but if the campsite is not full it is also possible to book directly on site. The campsite has hot showers. The setting is very pleasant at the foot of a hill. The museum, which is located in Duwisib Castle, houses a collection of antiques, armour and paintings from the 18th and 19th centuries. The interest lies above all in the unusual setting because unfortunately the quality of NWR's service is not always up to scratch
