Nice family farmhouse in an idyllic setting that offers perfectly maintained and comfortable rooms.

Pretty family farmhouse, bordered by high palm trees, in an idyllic setting with views of the surrounding mountains. The eight recently renovated rooms are perfectly maintained and comfortable. In the evening, you share your meal with the other guests in the former converted ironworks. The products come from the farm (which can be visited) and the typical Namibian cuisine. The campsite is shaded, very pleasant and perfectly equipped. Campers can eat at the farm and have access to the swimming pool.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in der Duwisib Guest Farm. Sehr saubere und angenehme Zimmer, wunderschönes Farmhaus mit allen Annehmlichkeiten, tolle Lage und ein sehr leckeres Abendessen mit Jochen und seiner Familie! Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt, die interessanten Gespräche beim Abendessen und die herzliche Gastfreundschaft. Ich kann die Duwisib Guest Farm für einen Aufenthalt wärmstens empfehlen.

An absolute gem and a must stay if passing by or visiting the Castle - we stayed overnight en route from Sossusvlei to Keetmanshoop. The owner is wonderfully knowledgeable about the area, and the accomodation and service is excellent. Dinner, breakfast and lunch are all available on request, and the food is excellent. Cannot recommend this place enough. The views of the farm from the View Point are breathtaking.

Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Unsere campsite war sauber und mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet. Einziges Manko: kein Strom an der campsite. Sanitäanlagen super sauber. Das gemeinsame Abendessen (köstliche lokale Küche) mit dem Gastgeber wurde auf der Terrasse serviert mit einem traumhaften Ausblick. Wir fühlten uns sehr willkommen und hatten einen fantastischen Aufenthalt.

Die Gästefarm liegt direkt neben dem Duwisib Castle, das man von den Gästehäusern bequem zu Fuß erreichen kann. Wir waren hier, um uns die Burg anzuschauen und haben danach einen leckeren Kaffee auf der Gästefarm getrunken. Der Besitzer hatte uns persönlich bedient und sogar sie Zeit gefunden uns einiges Interessantes über die Region, die Burg und das Leben in Namibia zu erzählen. Sehr empfehlenswert.
