The only faults are the food which I think can use some improvement as well as the guides; the scorpion hunt was very amateurish, flashlights not working and so on.
Important note - the road to the lodge from the main road is poorly maintained. This adds 30/40 min to your drive to and back from Sossus/Deadvlei. Keep this in mind! Def book 3 nights here if possible, if you only have one night rather stay closer to the dead Bally to save time.
We genieten van deze plek en hebben hier al verschillende dieren vanuit onze lodge gezien. Gemsbokken, springbokken en zelfs een giraffe!
Er staat een roze koelkast op de route naar de lodges. Deze koelkast werkt op zonne-energie. Leuke gadget!
Ik heb de service drie sterren gegeven omdat de kamer niet helemaal schoon was bij aankomst. De kamers en het restaurant zien er wel prachtig uit en de familie lodge is lekker ruim.
Bij aankomst hebben we een fles rosé bubbels van Simonsig besteld. Genieten!
Het ontbijt en de lunch zijn erg goed. Zeker een aanrader. Het diner is een afrader en een slechte prijs-kwaliteit. Vreemd omdat de lunch heel goed is.
