A stopover offering the opportunity to refresh yourself at the bar and to glean information on the hikes offered by the park.

Once you have passed the park gate, you will have to drive several kilometres on a paved road that winds beautifully through the mountains before you reach the reception. You will be asked to pay an entrance fee of 80 N$ per day per adult. This stopover will also be an opportunity to refresh yourself at the bar and to glean information about the hikes the park offers: the most enjoyable of them leads to superb natural pools in the middle of the mountains!

Nous y avons passé une nuit, mais c'est insuffisant pour prétendre faire un peu de rando à Naukluft. C'est un lieu très reposant comparé à Sesriem.

Depuis Solitaire, le bureau du parc Naukluft, à Sesriem, est une bonne halte avant d'aller de "s'enfoncer" dans le parc du Naukluft. Il permet notamment se restaurer (il y a un bar circulaire dont les serveurs et serveuses sont très gentils), mais aussi de s'approvisionner en eau (il y a un petit magasin).

Nous logions au sud de Solitaire et y somme allés pour la journée. Je ne le recommanderais pas sur une durée si courte car nous avons fait beaucoup de trajet sur une piste en mauvais état. Une fois rentré dans le parc le bureau d'accueil est encore à plusieurs kilomètres. Mais les balades sur place sont sympas.
