From Walvis Bay or by combining the excursion from Pelican Point, this agency takes you to discover the desert. The 4 × 4 drive through the dunes and along the ocean until you reach Sandwich Harbour. Lunch break in the middle of the dunes completed by an oyster tasting. Many photo breaks along the way. Not to be missed, but fasten your seatbelt and be warned: it's rough! Located 55 kilometers south of Walvis Bay, Sandwich Harbour is part of the Namib Desert. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is one of the world's largest deserts. With dunes over 100 meters high, come and meet the Atlantic Ocean in a breathtaking contrast of colors. Sandwich Harbour is a photographer's paradise. A full day can be spent shooting the panoramic landscape, which is constantly changing with the position of the sun. Few places in the world can rival the extreme contrast of the desert-ocean meeting. Close-up encounters with birds and other animals make for superb photos and fond memories.
