The Pelican Point Kayak Tour Company takes you on a daily trip to the protected area of the bay, where you can see the Cape fur seal colony as well as flamingos, pelicans, cormorants and other marine and avian species. From April to October, you will also have the chance to see humpback whales. The tour begins with a scenic 40km transfer from Walvis Bay to Pelican Point in a 4WD vehicle. Along the way, you'll pass bright pink salt lakes and protected wetlands that are home to thousands of birds. At Pelican Point, start with kayaking near the lighthouse and head to the seal colonies. No special experience or physical condition is required. Trips start at 8am to take advantage of the calm weather conditions in Walvis Bay, and last until about 1pm. It is not uncommon for bottlenose dolphins to appear in the bay, making the experience even more unforgettable.

Great day on the water with all the seals (thanks for the photos, people are sick of seeing so many seal pics on my insta.).
As we drove to Skeleton Bay, Graham pointed out the natrual fauna and the salt factory.
After an amazing time getting up close to seals of all shapes and sizes, we had some yummy sandwiches and hot drinks.
I think the highlight was the brotherly banter after a technical difficultly with the truck????
