Budget is present in Walvis Bay if you need to rent a car for your trips. There are no 4WDs available for rent, so this is not the solution you need to drive through the dunes or even try a trip on the road to Pelican Point, which is not paved all the way and eventually gives way to the sand. However, Toyota Corollas and Volkswagen Polos can be rented at a rather affordable price, which is more than enough to get you around town and make the 30-minute connection between Walbis Bay and Swakopmund.
