Tommy Collard offers day trips into the desert with his all-terrain truck. This intrepid guide seems to have a sixth sense when it comes to spotting a snake, lizard or chameleon. Departure is at 8:00 am, in the cooler weather, because the higher the temperatures rise, the harder it is to see the animals. Night excursions and 4x4 expeditions in the Welwitschias valley can also be arranged. Recommended, as long as you are not afraid of snakes and small animals, of course!
