The hotel Indongo is 200 metres from the beach and is bright, modern and equipped with a lounge area. Wi-Fi is available in the room. Outside are available a parking as well as a playground for children! The location is quiet while being just 10 minutes away from the city centre, a good consensus.

The campsite and facilities are nothing special and the price is higher than we paid almost anywhere in Namibia. However, it is all worth it for the water hole just outside the campsite. Getting to watch baby elephants frolic with the sun setting in the background, cold beer in hand, was one of the most serene moments of my entire life.

Very good for a government setup.

Halali….or Hell-ali?

So we stayed in a double room for a night. Like all the camps in Etosha, it’s very clean but VERY basic. Think Route 66 Motel vibes. But exactly what we needed. It had freezing Air Conditioning and a running fridge. You really can’t ask for much more in the middle of Etosha.

The only thing I would say, as many people have expressed, is how bad the food is.

The food. Is. So. So. Poor. Borderline disgusting.

If you can, I would highly recommend bringing your own meals for this campsite. The food is just so bad and overpriced that I would have been happy out with
a baguette and some cheese instead. Okajuejo and Namutoni had better meals.

The reception staff were lovely but the restaurant staff really don’t care a whole lot.

Also, the guy working at the petrol station was very helpful. We ran into a punctured type issue and did everything he could to help us. A legend.

But seriously, my thoughts and prayers are with you if you have to have dinner here.

Also avoid the pool. It was greener than the Hulk.

O Halali é apenas razoavel. Entrega apenas o basico.

Well located campsite in the middle of the national park. A little haunted equipment, but maintained. A swimming pool, restaurant and a small shop are available in the premises. Electricity and fire pits are available at every campsite. The watering hole at the campsite was mostly full of animals.
