Camping with a small kiosk located at the mouth of the river Omaruru, an autonomous address between land and sea.
Situated at the mouth of the Omaruru River, the charm of the Illofa Clan Camping is its rudimentary character, wedged between land and sea in a place where you have to be almost entirely self-sufficient. The site is lightly landscaped and has toilets, showers with hot water, but no electricity. A small kiosk offers some snacks and drinks but nothing substantial - for shopping you have to go to the centre of Henties Bay. Remember to put the pegs on your tent as sometimes the wind can be very strong!
