Lodge offering twelve thatched chalets arranged around a central platform.

From the outside, it looks like an ovambo village: wooden logs surround the lodge, as is often the case in the land of Frans Indongo. This Namibian entrepreneur is one of the few black Namibians to own a lodge. The twelve thatched chalets are arranged around a central platform, from which you can watch a multitude of antelopes drinking at the waterhole. The game drive offers a pleasant surprise: an encounter with black and white rhinoceros. Numerous white-tailed wildebeest and oryx are also easy to spot.

Es war leider unsere letzte Lodge vor dem Rückflug, von daher hatten wir nur eine Nacht, die Lodge ist grandios in einer Savannen-Landschaft gelegen, von der Außenterasse hat man einen traumhaften Blick in die Landschaft und auf das Wasserloch welches in der heißen Jahreszeit viele Tiere zum Trinken anlockt, das Essen ist sehr zu empfehlen (abends 3 Gänge-Menü, morgens Frühstücks-Buffet), sehr nettes Personal, Ausflüge konnten wir leider keine machen wegen der begrenzten Zeit, sehr empfehlenswert**** PS: Beim Abendessen war es sehr kalt im halboffenen Essens-Saal, von daher hätten wir uns sehr gefreut, wenn der Kamin/die Feuerstelle gebrannt hätte, aber sie war leider aus!

Wir waren als Dayvisitors auf der Lodge. Einige km ausserhalb Otjiwarongo tauchten wir in eine tolle, ruhige, gut organisierte Atmosphäre ein. Wir schöne Stunden, mit Gamelive, tolle Umgebung und super Lunch. Vielen Dank dafür.

We were at the lodge as day visitors. A few km outside Otjiwarongo we immersed ourselves in a great, calm, well-organized atmosphere. We had lovely hours, with game live, great surroundings and a great lunch. Thank you for that.

We spent one night at the lodge on our way from Etosha to Windhoek. The staff was very friendly, the lodge is very nice and designed in a traditional way using many Namibian products. The dinner was very good, it was one of the few lodges that offered proper vegetarian meals (the spinach and butternut ravioli were delicious!). They also have a terrace with a small water hole and a beautiful view. The gift shop has nice souvenirs. We would definitely recommend this place.

Sehr schöne Lodge in toller Lage. Wir waren hier für 3 Nächte zum Abschluss unserer Namibia-Reise. Die Hütten sind sehr schön eingerichtet und gemütlich. Das Restaurant ist sehr schön und das Essen schmeckt sehr gut und die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich. Von der Terrasse hat man einen tollen Blick auf das Wasserloch an dem sich gerade am späten Nachmittag viele Tiere versammeln.
