Two smaller campsites have units with a barbecue area, covered terrace, water supply..
In a private reserve at the foot of the Waterberg, the two small campsites offer secluded pitches on the soft red sand of the Kalahari, separated by bushes and trees. Impeccably maintained and well organised. Each unit has a barbecue area (free wood available on site), a covered terrace, a water supply, and communal showers and toilets nearby. Swimming pool available on both sites, nestled in the bush.

Die Campsite war auf der Website nicht gut dargestellt, somit waren wir sehr enttäuscht als wir ankamen. Das Waschhaus und die Stellplätze werden wenig gepflegt. Die Dame am Tor war äußerst unfreundlich. Wir würden jedem eine andere Campsite empfehlen. Vielleicht ist das Anderssen Camp schöner, aber der Service bleibt der gleiche.

Campsite was super quite! Loved it.
Pool was clean.
Every campsite has their own shower/toilet. It was clean and worked great.
To get from the campsite to the main reception is a lot to walk. We used the car.
Great hike ways and view from the top was great.
We checked in at the great but for us there was no real main reception (or we did not found it)
We got no information that e.g the giraffe crossing hike was closed because of construction work.
In general the staff was friendly.
Pool was clean.

Our campsite was not super clean. There were yellow stains on the table which gave us the impression that an animal uses it as toilet. The BBQ wasn’t clean either and if you had a look around the campsite you could spot tissue paper/plastic in the bush. There was a shadow roof but it did not spend shadow in the afternoon (except for the trash bin). The lights in our bathroom did not work and there was no bin. Besides, the staff didn’t appear very motivated, convenient and (child-)friendly. We booked dinner on the night we arrived for the next evening and luckily we double-checked on the next day because the staff did not reserve a spot for us. The dinner then was only mediocre and cannot be compared to other places where we had dinner. Considering that, it was reaaaally overpriced. They also did not offer child-friendly food - for example, dessert was with alcohol and an alternative (plain yoghurt) was only offered after we asked. The meat was very hot/spicy which our daughters (2 and 4 years old) could not eat. The pool area looks much nicer than it actually is. If we were to stay in the area again, I would look for a different place.

We moeten nog slapen vannacht maar het lijkt me onprettig.
Zwembaden (voor zover het de naam mag hebben) wemelen van de wespen en zagen er groen uit.
Bedjes (bij 1 zwembad geen en bij de ander 4?,) waren te smerig om aan te raken.
Heb ook niemand gezien die een poging waagde en dat met 38 graden????
Toevoeging: We kregen in de ochtend gelijk bezoek van manager Hans die ons het een en ander uit kon leggen over de situatie.
We hebben het vertrouwen dat onze klachten heel serieus worden genomen en dat er hard aan vetbetering gewerkt wordt.
Ook willen we onze waardering uitspreken over het personeel in het restaurant !
