From the moment we turned off the main road and started on the 14km drive inside Hobatere Conservancy we had a good feeling. The conservancy is really beautiful with hills and large trees and was an antidote to western Etosha.
The employees of the lodge were extremely welcoming and explained that the lodge was owned by the community which is really encouraging, The room was well appointed and comfortable. We liked this place and would definitely stay here again while in the area.
Meals (boma evening) are good when they are taken at the lodge... if need be packed lunch to control the expiration dates (8 days old yoghurt) Breakfast of birds. The staff is pleasant.
The range drive afternoon allows you to meet elephants, and all the wildlife of this private reserve of beautiful landscapes. Possible safaris at night.
