MOKUTI LODGE
If the lodge is called Mokuti ("in bush" in himba), it is because it is located in the shrub savanna, on the edge of the park of Etosha, on a private reserve where you can watch giraffes and bonteboks. Yet, this very spacious lodge with 106 rooms accommodating up to 236 people, is nothing to do with a small, rustic and authentic bush camp. The service equals that of major hotels: Very good à la carte restaurant and gargantuan buffets, room service, 2 bars and in each room a lot of small details that offer an almost unusual comfort at the gates of Etosha. The design of the lodge and especially the booma, dining room around a great fire used as barbecue, the whole outdoors under a thatched roof, nevertheless evoke Africa that is well there. Fabulous spa not to miss. Good value for money.
Activities: game drive guided in Etosha park, 2 tennis courts, horse riding in the lodge private reserve, 2 swimming pools, golf in Tsumeb (100 km), excellent reptile park. Service station, souvenir shop.
