TSUMEB CULTURAL VILLAGE
Open air museum offering an opportunity to discover and better understand the traditional way of life of Namibian ethnic groups.
This project initiated by the local community consists of an open-air museum (the Helvi Mpingana Kondombolo Cultural Village). It invites tourists to discover and better understand the traditional way of life of Namibian ethnic groups, their history, culture and crafts. Reproductions of the habitats of each ethnic group are presented to visitors. The visit lasts only about 30 minutes, but it is always pleasant to take a short educational break and to support the efforts of the communities in the enhancement of their heritage.
