MANGETTI NATIONAL PARK
National park on the northern route with an interesting picnic area, with community conservatories.
Classified as a national park in 2008 and opened to the public in 2014, the park covers an area of 420 km2. On the way north, it can be an interesting "picnic" stop before entering the Zambezi River and reaching Rundu, the second largest city in the country. Although it does not match the other parks in terms of scenic beauty, the wildlife is rich and diverse. Benefits from tourism are shared with local communities under thecommunal conservancy model.
