Lodge in Tsumkwe with simple, well-equipped chalets and a campsite, ideal for going to Khaudum National Park.

This lodge has 23 simple but well-equipped cottages and a campsite. An evening lighted watering hole is used as a watering place for antelopes and elephants passing by... Rooms 15, 16 and 17 are best suited for watching the show. The bar/restaurant area under a large straw hut offers a warm and friendly moment. Tsumkwe Lodge is ideal to go to Khaudum National Park, and to meet the Bushmen alongside Simon or Small Boy , two certified San guides , who will be delighted to show you their cultural heritage.

When you arrive a crossing in the middle of nowhere, near the radio antenna, do not miss the crossing, turn on the right. Le Tsumkwe lodge is currently undergoing renovations. One impatiently awaits new chalets canvas comfortable gradually will replace the old chalets made of age and very outdated... directions make their to make your stay pleasant soon lodge should be worthy of the name. Arno is no longer the Master of the place, it to another community bushmen. The lodge however organises days " bushmen" who deserve a stops here. Mornings are very enriching on the San culture, even if San that accompany us are still in trial period (brandnew costumes, hesitant contacts...) unforgettable memory all this morning walk in the bush with discovered plants and roots, (free tasting!), after lunch is more " folklorique" the dances, but not to be missed for an insight into a way of life very enriching and a memorable contact. The lodge manages the service station now recently opened in the " centre ville" , the last before the border of Botswana.Si you have ten minutes (that is quite!), visit the city centre, the clinic where whom a Swiss doctor that the surrounding villages bushmen, the souvenir centre brandnew... and always empty, without souvenir... unless you want to buy sandals " in china" or a little meat... there is another small souvenir shop with bushmen crafts and a very friendly welcome a little further, on the right. Do not forget, in Tsumkwe think about the celebrity who buried: N! xau, actor san of the " Gods fell on the tête".
