Hotel with a green lawn surrounding the pool, overlooking the Okavango, and comfortable rooms with air conditioning.

The green and white building looks a bit simple with its tin roof, but the rooms are very comfortable and have air conditioning and a bathroom. In the garden, a large green lawn surrounds the swimming pool, and the view of the Okavango below extends to Angola. Bird lovers will stop in front of the aviaries where a parrot calls out to passers-by. The restaurant serves hearty Portuguese-inspired meals. Boat excursions are available. A good stop to refuel before getting back on the road.

As good as it gets for miles around. I had the cheeseburger and fries and it was delicious. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Lots of parrots and peacocks out by the swimming pool. Service was very prompt and attentive.

Beautiful setting with a swimming pool, lush lawn and the most beautiful garden. The rooms are very clean and spacious. Staff members are attentive and helpful. The restaurant didn't have the local cuisine they were offering on their menu. The breakfast variety is also very limited. The river is hardly visible from the lodge despite its name.
