Contrary to what its name suggests, Sarasungu River Lodge offers no views of the Okavango River. The atmosphere is pleasant, however, in the shade of large native trees populated by many varieties of birds, including cratéropes singing. The 26 rooms (2, 3 or 5 beds) of wood and reeds are with large thatched roofs. The decoration brings a touch of ethnic authenticity in a very comfortable interior (bed nets, electricity, bathroom). Eduardo, your Portuguese host from Angola, speaks French. You will surely appreciate its talented Mediterranean cuisine (à la carte restaurant, delicious pizza). A limited campground is available behind the main building.
Activities: volleyball, swimming pool, canoeing and boat rides on request.
