Once past the restaurant's entrance curtain, you sit down to eels. This is the speciality of the house, which has been serving eel continuously since 1923. There's the classic una-don, a bowl of rice topped with grilled eel in a sweet-and-sour sauce, but also eels served Nagoya-style, in a bowl of rice with seaweed. Several ways of eating this bowl are then proposed, enhanced with different condiments, such as wasabi, or in a tea broth. This address is a neighborhood classic.
