Neighbourhood institution known for its alcoholic beverages served in a joyful atmosphere. The large tables encourage exchanges.

It is said to be the oldest bar in Japan, as its opening dates back to 1880. It is the pride of the district. In the evening, it is strongly advised to come early. On the menu, Western cuisine but also Japanese, especially on the second floor where many dishes are served. Kamiya Bar is known for its brandy speciality, quite fearsome: denki bran (electric brandy). Bottles are sold by the dozen... A bit old-fashioned and smoky, but the atmosphere is very friendly around the big tables on the first floor.
