YABUSOBA NAMIKI
Good address to test the yabusoba, the typical buckwheat pasta of Tokyo. Just dip the tip in a thick sauce.
Nice little popular restaurant serving soba, the traditional buckwheat noodle. This is a well-known Asakusa address, particularly for yabusoba, noodles served with a thick, salty soy sauce-based soup. Once the noodles are eaten, the cooking water is poured into the broth for drinking. In 2023, the house celebrated its 110th anniversary! The dishes are not displayed at the entrance, but a menu in rōmaji (Latin alphabet) will help you make your choice. An old address, but not a bit old-fashioned.
