The entrance to the restaurant, lit by two lanterns, conceals a much larger establishment than it appears. Many local men come here to eat in the late afternoon. The food is delicious. The dining room is a beautiful blend of stone and wood.Oden is the specialty here. It's a fish-based broth in which various ingredients are cooked: konyaku, a kind of tuber gelatin, giusuji, made from beef sinew, or gamodoki, made from mushrooms. Other more common Japanese dishes are also on the menu.
