A fairly widespread concept in Japan, this capsule hotel literally offers capsules, including a bed. Ideally located in central Tokyo, it is reserved for women. The decor is futuristic (and therefore rather non-existent) and very (too) pink. It's all girly, and perhaps lacking in warmth, but we appreciate the simplicity and serenity that comes from the company of other female travelers and staff. What's more, the amenities are truly impeccable, functional and comfortable.
