This ryokan, which has been in operation for over 80 years, is unique in that it has both tatami and bedded rooms. Prices vary accordingly. Tucked away in an alleyway next to Sensō-ji temple, it's a haven of peace amid the district's bustling streets. The ambience is fairly generic and the decor not particularly elaborate, but the hotel's major asset is its shared bathroom on the top floor. The wooden bath overlooks the rooftops of Sensō-ji temple and, in the distance, the Tokyo Sky Tree.

Beau petit ryokan. Accueil chaleureux et personnel très serviable. Idéalement situé à Asakusa, proche des transports en commun et du célèbre marché. Restos à proximité et le top, la salle de bains sur le toit de l'immeuble ! (c'est ce qui participe à sa réputation)
