Here, at last, is a hotel with a strong character. An old establishment, open since 1954 in the heart of the Kanda district, it can boast of regularly welcoming numerous artists. It was here that Mishima stayed, and it is said that he was inspired by its atmosphere. It has a rather special history: before being used as a hotel, it housed a research institute on the Japanese way of life in the 1940s, before being requisitioned by the American army during the Second World War. The decor is vintage.
