In the "Latin Quarter" of Tokyo, more than 150 small bookstores sell old and new books and prints.
Around the station Jimbochō, the book is in the spotlight with some rather extraordinary bookstores. Some of them have real treasures. It is estimated that the 160 shops and other stands have a total of more than ten million books. There are, for example, books dating from the 18th century, in French, which cost around ¥10,000. You wonder how they ended up here. Some shops sell beautiful prints and prices range from ¥1,000 to ¥100,000 and more.
