TSUTAYA DAIKANYAMA
This temple of culture where one reads while drinking coffee is worth a visit, if only for the collection of vintage magazines.
On the hillside of Daikan-yama, Shibuya's sophisticated counterpart, stands this astonishing bookshop. Conceived as a "forest of the arts", it extends over three buildings whose facades are covered with interlocking T letters. The interior is a veritable temple of culture. CDs, films, vintage and international magazines or luxury stationery, there's everything to lose yourself in for hours. You can sit back and read or listen to music. There's even a café and terrace seating.
