THÉÂTRE TAKARAZUKA
A theater troupe that plays flamboyant shows. The little extra: the whole team is made up of women. To reserve!
Founded in 1914 by Ichizo Kobayashi, director of the Hankyu train company, the Takarazuka troupe was from the outset composed entirely of young girls. The objective was to provide accessible leisure activities for families. Today, six troupes of women who play both male and female roles perform musicals in a wide variety of styles, but always with flamboyant choreography and costumes. The actresses have real fan clubs and the shows are often sold out. To be booked well in advance.
