Built in 1923 and located in the very heart of the capital, this open-air stage is one of the few outdoor cultural venues in Tokyo. Nestled amidst the greenery of Hibiya Park, the theater offers performances of all kinds throughout the year, from classical music to J-POP to electro. Many famous Japanese bands perform there, which often attract a young audience. The only drawback is that the weather may cancel an event.
