Certainly, the name of the Lupin bar evokes the famous French detective. However, since its foundation in 1928, this bar hidden in an alley in Ginza has been known as a meeting place for artists and writers. Kafu Nagai, Yasunari Kawabata, Osamu Dazai, among others, used to meet here. Photos of famous people who frequented this place still hang on the walls. In this muffled atmosphere of history, one chooses from a very limited menu some cocktails served with mastery, which one sips peacefully.
