MOMI NO YU
What could be better than a footbath after visiting the museums of Ueno? If we are also served tea, there's no reason to resist.
Despite the very Japanese name, the café's decor sets the tone: more Indian than Zen. The interior isn't very large, but on the right, you can take a seat at a small counter. Underneath is a warm footbath to relax your legs while you eat your lunch or drink a relaxing tea or herbal tea. The hostesses specialize in Ayurvedic massages. And if you feel like it, they offer more therapeutic services, such as a delicious shoulder massage that almost makes you want to fall asleep on the spot.
