The oldest Beer hall in Japan opened in 1934 and spans several floors. The décor is rather European, with its large mosaic depicting women dressed in Roman style, its dark bricks, its high ceiling, and the period lighting. The choice of beers is wide, as well as the choice of dishes. There are of course cold cuts and meats, but also Japanese fried foods and other snacks. The popularity of Lion Ginza has never waned. In the evening, local employees mingle with tourists to have a drink.
