It was the first hostess café to open in Akihabara in March 2001, and one of the best-known. The ambience is sober and the setting classic, compared to a whole range of cafés of this kind that have emerged in recent years. A different menu is served for lunch and dinner. At weekends, the young ladies even play the violin or other musical instruments. The café has capitalized on its success, offering merchandise bearing the girls' likenesses and merchandising. The "korabo café" regularly showcases recent manga and anime.
