In the district behind Senso-ji, we move away from the crowded shopping streets surrounding the sanctuaries and find ourselves in quieter alleys. They are filled with small restaurants, bars or cafes in which it is good to linger. Rusurusu is one of them. Behind the noren, the curtain of the store, there is a counter full of mouth-watering cakes and cookies. Far from the noisy station cafes, the atmosphere here is simple and frugal.
