Millions of monsters and horror movie characters parade freely in Shibuya for an extraordinary spectacle.
Halloween may not be a traditional Japanese holiday, but in the land of cosplay and horror films, it's a festival for young and old alike. For several years now, they've been seizing the opportunity to parade through the streets of Shibuya, dressed in colorful costumes. From gaudy monsters and cute creatures from animated films to groups of people dressed as sushi platters, creativity knows no bounds at this festival. Please note: exceptionally, it was cancelled in 2023 in Shibuya.
