This gigantic concrete building, designed by Takahiko Yanagisawa, overlooks the pretty Kiba Park. It houses vast rooms for temporary exhibitions, as well as an impressive collection. A must for contemporary art lovers. Inaugurated in 1985, it caters for art enthusiasts with its collection of over 4,800 works and its library of 100,000 references on contemporary art and its major trends. A café and a small restaurant complete the setting.
