Founded in 1966, this museum on the 9th floor of the Imperial Theater features a collection of paintings, ukiyo-e prints and calligraphy. Among the wonders to be discovered: magnificent pottery and ceramics from Japan, other Asian countries, Persia and the Mediterranean. But above all, a famous collection of prints by Utamaro, Hokusai, Hiroshige and Moronobu. The collection is immense, and temporary exhibitions are held regularly to showcase selected items.
