Located in Ueno Park, this museum houses only temporary exhibitions, which can focus as much on traditional Japanese arts as on contemporary artists. Divided into five galleries, several exhibitions on individual artists or on a theme take place there at the same time. Depending on your dates of stay, don't hesitate to come and have a look: you might come across a wonderful exhibition. Since the opening of a small library on the site, debates are organized, almost always in Japanese and from time to time in English.
