TOKYO TEIEN ART MUSEUM
The residence of Prince Yasuhiko Asaka in the 1920s, the building became a museum in 1983. Visitors come here as much to admire the splendid Art Deco building as for the exhibitions held there. Prince Yasuhiko, having studied in France, asked the famous painter and decorator Henri Rapin (1873-1939) to draw up the interior plans on his return. Both the building and the garden are well worth a visit(Teien means Japanese garden). The garden's lush greenery and rolling hills provide the ideal backdrop for enjoying nature all year round
