It is the oldest amusement park in Japan. It opened in 1853 and became a zoological park and then an amusement park since 1947. It is located two minutes walk from Sensō-Ji temple. Known all over Japan by its nickname of "Flower Park", it offers twenty attractions of another age (but without any security problem!) as well as small restaurants and souvenir stores. One doesn't come here for thrills, but rather for smiles and a touch of nostalgia. Popular with couples and families.
