Japan's oldest amusement park. It opened in 1853 and became a zoological park, then an amusement park in 1947. It's a two-minute walk from Sensō-Ji temple. Known throughout Japan by its nickname of "Flower Park", it offers twenty attractions from another age (but without any safety problems!), as well as small restaurants and souvenir stores. You don't come here for thrills, but for smiles and a touch of nostalgia. Popular with couples and families alike.
